2020 Election: Celebrities who support Kamala Harris

As the 2020 elections get closer, presidential frontrunners are continuing to campaign around the country in attempt to win over the the nation's votes.

California Senator, Kamala Harris, is among the democratic elects running against Joe Biden, Peter Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Beto O'Rourke, Cory Booker and Bernie Sanders. Harris raised the second-largest fundraising haul of any candidate in the 2020 race, receiving $13.2 million in the beginning of April, according to the first-quarter Federal Election Commission.

The White House hopeful is a clear Hollywood favorite -- although in tough competition with Biden -- acquiring substantial campaign donations from A-list names such as Ben Affleck, Eva Longoria, Elizabeth Banks and "Empire" director, Lee Daniels.

According to the L.A. Times, "Jane Fonda, Leonardo DiCaprio, Barbra Streisand, Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Affleck, Kerry Washington, Charlize Theron and a long roster of studio executives gave money to Harris in the years before she launched her campaign for president."

Former Fox Entertainment CEO, Gary Newman, was another high-profile name who donated a generous amount to Harris' campaign.
