Lisa Sheridan, who appeared on 'CSI,' 'Scandal' and 'The Fosters,' dies at 44

Actress Lisa Sheridan, whose credits include "CSI," "NCIS" and "Scandal," died Monday at 44 years old.

The cause of death is not yet known, but Sheridan's manager, Mitch Clem, disputed rumors that her death was by suicide.

"The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide," he told People.

In a statement to Deadline, Clem said the actress was "at home in New Orleans" when she died Monday morning.

"We are waiting for the coroners," he said, adding that he and others were "blindsided" by the news.

Sheridan had recurring roles "CSI: Miami," "Journeyman" and "Still the King," among dozens of other TV shows.
