Chrissy Teigen offers to pay $100,000 fine to get McKayla Maroney out of her NDA

Chrissy Teigen is ready and willing to shell out major cash to take one final kick at a serial sexual predator.

Olympian McKayla Maroney is one of more than 100 women who have accused former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar of sexual abuse. Nassar pled guilty in November 2017 to criminal sexual conduct, admitting he used his position to sexually abuse young girls.

But while many of those victims had the opportunity to speak at his sentencing, Maroney is contractually obligated to stay silent thanks to a 2016 non-disclosure agreement. If she shares details of her experience, she'll be subject to a $100,000 fine -- and Chrissy Teigen is offering to pay it.

"The entire principle of this should be fought -- an NDA to stay quiet about this serial monster with over 140 accusers," Teigen tweeted on Tuesday. "I would be absolutely honored to pay this fine for you, McKayla."

Within half an hour, the offer had racked up 7,000 retweets and dozens of comments of support.

Maroney has not yet publicly responded, and it appears her personal social media accounts have been shut down.
