Police Working to Identify Stone Mountain Shooting Victim
The woman's body was found in a parking lot of an apartment complex.
Authorities are working to identify a woman who was found shot to death in a Stone Mountain apartment complex parking lot Saturday, and find witnesses to the crime.
DeKalb County Police spokesman Capt. Stephen Fore told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that about 9:40 p.m. Saturday a caller reported hearing gunshots at the Mountain Lakes Apartments in the 1400 block of North Hairston. Officers at the scene found the body of a woman who had been shot several times in the parking lot, but no one nearby.
“No witnesses have come forward,” Fore told the newspaper.
