You need to see Amazon's new custom wedding shop
There are very few categories untouched by Amazon in the e-commerce world today. The company has seen tremendous growth in the fashion space, expanded to fresh groceries and soon will take on the pharmacy market. It comes as no surprise that the retail giant is getting its foot in the door of the $300 billion wedding industry.
When Amazon launched their Handmade shop featuring products created by artists around the world, it sparked the conversation about competing with Etsy. This week, Amazon recently launched a new wedding shop which features a wide range of DIY items including bride and groom accessories, invitations, cake toppers, signs, personalized gifts and more. The introductory page states, "explore unique, handcrafted items for your wedding day and all the special events leading up to "I do." "
