Melania Trump turns heads in $51,500 floral jacket and matching clutch in Italy

Melania Trump made headlines this past week predominantly for swatting her husband's hand away when he attempted to hold hers (twice) -- but on Friday, the last day of her and Donald Trump's first tour as president and first lady, it was FLOTUS' ensemble in Sicily that stole the spotlight.

Melania arrived at Chierici Palace wearing a "3D" $51,500 floral jacket by Dolce & Gabbana with a matching $1,630 clutch, as POTUS attended the G7 summit. The deposit alone costs a whopping $25,750. She complemented the eccentric overcoat with a simple beige dress and equally understated pumps.

The hefty price tag is sure to get the internet talking, and it wouldn't be the first time this week that one of her outfits had that effect. On Tuesday, the first lady's dress at Israel's Holocaust memorial drew criticism, as it exposed her bare shoulders.
