Clinton campaign book 'Shattered' may become a TV series

Just weeks after its release, Shattered, the new book by journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes on Hillary Clinton's surprising election loss, is being optioned for a potential TV series by TriStar.

Two producers behind The Blacklist are said to be involved but no writer or network have been named for the adaptation, though premium cable networks and streaming services alike are being considered.

While Shattered deals with how Clinton lost, sources told the Hollywood Reporter the TV series would be told as a sort of Greek tragedy.

This comes just two months after HBO announced plans for a miniseries on Donald Trump's surprising win from a yet-to-be-released book by the authors of Game Change, on which the network's film adaptation was based.
