San Francisco International Airport shows off the country's first therapy pig

Meet LiLou, the first reported airport therapy pig in the United States.

The Juliana-breed pig is now a member of the San Francisco International Airport's "Wag Brigade" which brings trained dogs to the terminals to help passengers to relax and enjoy themselves while they travel. The San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals brings certified animals to mingle with travelers and brighten their days.

"We have more than 300 dog, cat and rabbit volunteer teams, but LiLou is the first pig in our program," said Dr. Jennifer Henley, SF SPCA Animal Assisted Therapy manager in a press release. "It's wonderful to witness the surprise and delight that LiLou brings to people during therapy visits."

LiLou loves to wear colorful costumes and flaunt brightly-colored painted nails.

She's certainly a sight for sore eyes, and we'd love to bump into her during our travels!
