There is no doubt that the oldest city in America would also be the most haunted.

Savannah, Georgia may be one of the most beautiful places in the South.

But it's so nice, that people have trouble leaving it after death.

Here are the most haunted hangouts in Savannah.

This bed and breakfast is so hospitable, it lets guest stay after death.

Its most famous patron is Anne Powell, who committed suicide by jumping off the balcony after her sailor lover left her in the dust.

Book Room 204, and you'll hear her crying and standing by the bed.

Bonaventure Cemetery

This public cemetery was made famous by murder novel 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil' and its movie adaptation, filmed there.

Little Gracie Watson is the most well-known ghost of Bonaventure.

Gracie was born in 1883 and died at the age of six from pneumonia

Gifts are left for her ghost, who longs for her dead parents buried elsewhere.

Her ghost embodies her lifelike statue, which is said to cry blood if a gift is removed.

Sorrell-Weed House

This antebellum home is one of the most haunted buildings in Savannah.

The home was once owned by a wealthy plantation owner Francis Sorrel.

He had a longtime affair with a slave named Molly. But when Sorrel's wife found out, she hung herself from the second balcony.

Molly was found a few weeks later hanging from a noose. Both are said to haunt the home.
