Johns Creek Schedules Christmas Tree, Dreidel Lighting Ceremony

The ceremony, which will take place during the city's Santa Jam festivities, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1.

Johns Creek’s traditional tree and dreidel lightings will soon take place.

The ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at Johns Creek City Hall, and will be held in conjunction with the city’s Santa Jam festivities.

This year’s event will include new additions, such as an early appearance by Santa Claus. Returning this year will be Christmas carols by Woodward Academy North students, followed by the lighting of the tree and dreidel.

Johns Creek youngsters can share their wish list with Old St. Nick. Hot chocolate and free hotdogs will be available while they last. There will also be crafts, face-painting and kids’ activities.

Johns Creek City Hall is at 12000 Findley Road.
