After the argument, the victim parked her white 2014 Mercedes-Benz in the lot and entered the store, cops said. When she returned to her car, she discovered that both the front and rear driver’s side doors had been scratched, cops said.

The incident happened at 4:55 p.m. on Sept. 17.

The scratches caused approximately $4,000 in damages to the car, cops said.

On Thursday, police released surveillance video showing the car being keyed by the same woman from the altercation. The video shows the woman walking up to the white car, approaching the driver’s side, and running her keys along the side of the car.

She was described as white and between 35 and 45 years old. In the video, she appears to have dark hair and is seen wearing a light-colored baseball hat, long sleeved shirt, capri pants, and flip flops.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the woman or the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
