MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio - For many work anniversaries, employees might get a watch, a pen or even crystal -- but not Mary Conti.

Conti has been working at the Mayfield Heights McDonalds for more than 37 years.

Her boss, Tony Philiou, awarded her Wednesday with an all expenses paid, seven-day Caribbean cruise for her great attitude, great customer service and her million-dollar smile.

"I hope you enjoy yourself down there," Philiou told Conti. "We are looking forward to having you back. We are you going to miss you for the week. We know you're not going to miss us down there!"

"Tony Philio has surprised me every day," Conti said. "I had no idea what he's doing. I knew it was going to be something special."

For over three decades, Mary put her three kids through school, and when she's not home, she's at the restaurant with what she calls her 'McDonald's family.'

As for her guest on the cruise: her husband, Bill.

"So let me put it this way, I don't go too far without him. After 52 years, we're there," she said. With a sweet smile, Mary's husband corrected her -- it's been 53 years, after all.

Now, the only thing they are counting is the days until their special vacation.
