Wild facts about your favorite Disney movies

1) Ariel was modeled to look like a young Alyssa Milano and "Aladdin" was modeled after Tom Cruise.

2) "The Lion King" was originally titled "King of the Jungle" until someone realize that lions don't actually live in the jungle.

3) "Part of Your World" was nearly cut from "The Little Mermaid." Also, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" was nearly cut from "The Lion King." Luckily, Elton John convinced the producers to keep the song in and it won him an Oscar.

4) Walt Disney received an honorary Oscar for "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs." The Oscar was presented as one regular sized statue with seven miniature ones.

5) Writers tried out several different names for the seven dwarfs, including: Jumpy, Wheezy, Baldy, Puffy & Dizzy.
