British owl issued a library card

A British university is expressing its gratitude to a seagull-chasing owl by giving it — a library card?

Twice a week, the University of Bath in London brings in a bird handler who sends his owl Yoda around the campus to chase away seagulls. The university says its an environmentally friendly way to prevent the gulls from nesting on University property and becoming a nuisance. Apparently Yoda the owl has been doing such a great job in his role as chief of the bird police, that the University rewarded him with his own university library card.
