Woman Surprised by Response to Her Black Lives Matter Rant

St. Louis native, Peggy Hubbard has garnered a lot of attention after posting the video above on her Facebook page. In the video, Hubbard explains her frustration with the "Black Lives Matter" movement, which neglected to take action after the recent tragic death of a 9-year-old during Ferguson protests.

Jamyla Bolden was killed on August 20th in her home while sitting in bed doing homework. Bolden was killed by shots fired from close range through the window of her home around 9:30 p.m. The Bolden home is just one block from West Florissant Ave., which is the center of the protests in Ferguson.

For mother and Navy veteran, Peggy Hubbard, Jamyla Bolden's death struck her hard. Not only did this senseless crime seem unbelievable, she couldn't believe the "Black Lives Matter" movement was not rallying behind this tragedy.

How about black brutality...A little girl is dead. You say black lives matter? Her life mattered. Her dreams mattered. Her future mattered. Her promises mattered. It mattered." type="quote" author="Peggy Hubbard" authordesc="Facebook video" isquoteoftheday="false"%
