Billboard Sparks Outrage in Michigan


Anti-gay billboards have been spotted in Michigan in the past, and the message of intolerance is now spreading beyond.

Iowa couple, Betty and Dick Odgaard, have plans to buy 1,000 billboards and slap anti-gay messages across each and every one.

The Odgaards are the former owners of a wedding venue, which outwardly refused same-sex couples. After a complaint was filed under Iowa's nondiscrimination law, the couple decided to stop hosting weddings all together.

After word got out about their discrimination, their other businesses declined due to boycotts.

So when all else fails, buy billboards? Just one has popped up so far in Durant, Oklahoma, but according to their website, there are many, many more to come.
