Incredible EMT bride leaves her own wedding to help relatives in wreck
A photo of a bride on her wedding day is going viral, but not for the reason you may think.
Tennessee paramedic Sarah Ray was all set to celebrate her new marriage on Oct. 3 when she received a phone call an hour after the ceremony, according to ABC News. The bride was informed that her dad and grandparents had been involved in a car wreck a few miles away.

Without any hesitation, Ray and her husband jumped into the car and raced to the scene of the wreck.
Her grandfather was fine, but her grandmother was briefly hospitalized due to injuries from the airbag deploying and from the force of the seatbelt. Her father also suffered from similar injuries.
Leaving your own wedding to help save the lives of relatives takes extreme courage, but don't go calling Ray a hero.

Ray said she had full faith in her EMT friends to handle the situation.

Before the family left the scene, Ray's mother, Mary Martin, snapped quick photo of the bride performing her paramedic duties while arriving on the scene.

Chief Jimmy Edwards, a paramedic and registered nurse in Montgomery County, Tennessee, stated he is so "proud of Ray" and loves the photo so much that he's planning on hanging it in his office.
