The 87th Academy Awards pulled in 36.6 million viewers on Sunday night - 6.4 million fewer viewers from last year's 10-year high.

The Oscars earned a 10.8 rating in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic, based on Nielsen's fast national ratings. The show was TV's top entertainment telecast overall in a year - since last year's Oscars on March 2.
