A new life entered the world just outside the Lincoln Tunnel, after a woman gave birth to a girl in the backseat of an Uber. The mother, who lives in Hoboken, hailed the car to take her and her own mother to the hospital in Manhattan, but had to stop outside the tunnel at West 40th Street and Dyer Avenue when the "baby couldn't wait." The Uber driver flagged down a Port Authority cop at around 5:15 p.m. after the woman's water broke. Port Authority cops and FDNY EMTs then helped deliver the baby in the Uber car's backseat.

Mother and baby — both reportedly healthy — are now at Mt. Sinai Roosevelt Hospital. No word yet on whether they've received the official "Uber Rider Onesie."
