Pick up Bike Safety Tips, Helmet Safety Check Saturday
Decatur Police and the Decatur Heights Neighborhood Association will hold the free bike registration event.
Join the Decatur Police Department and Decatur Active Living on Saturday for a bicycle registration and safety event hosted by the Decatur Heights Neighborhood Association.
Register your bike, receive a helmet safety check, and ride the safety course to learn bike safety, hand signals and rules of the road.
Also, Bicycle South staff will be conducting bike checks.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Church at Decatur Heights, 735 Sycamore Drive. If it rains, activities will move from the parking lot to inside the gym.
There is no cost to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
